"Criminals are killing people, not law-abiding gun owners,"
Newark, NJ, Mayor Cory Booker said on ABC's 'This Week' .
"I don't know if anybody here has seen somebody shot. I have," Booker said.
"I don't know if anybody here has had to put their hand in somebody's chest and try to stop the bleeding so somebody doesn't die. I have. And the what frustrates me about this debate is it's a false debate. It's a false debate...I'm not afraid of law-abiding citizens who buy a gun," he said. "Buy the guns you want... Listen to me, the people dying in Chicago, the people dying in Newark are not being done with law-abiding gun owners," Booker continued. "We do not need to go after the guns. A law-abiding mentally stable American, that's not America's problem."
GUN CONTROL IS A FALSE DEBATE
This sentiment has been echoed the past week by many sane, rational people, some of whom don't even own a gun!

The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 failed to reduce the average number of victims per gun murder incident or multiple gunshot wound victims. [Impacts of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, March 1999]
GET THE FACTS!
Many studies of gun control have been conducted with the expectation that they would validate gun control in terms of reducing crime. After all, it's an article of faith among gun control supporters that "more guns [means] more crime." However, studies by the Congressional Research Service, the Library of Congress, the National Academy of Sciences, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and others have found no evidence that gun control reduces crime in this country or abroad. As pointed out by a prominent criminologist who supported gun control, crimes depend more on a criminal's intent than upon the weapon available.
In its annual report on crime nationwide, the FBI lists factors that determine the type and amount of crime in jurisdictions throughout the country. The FBI doesn't list gun ownership levels or gun control laws among its list of crime factors that determine the type and level of crime in a jurisdiction.
DO WE PROFILE WHITE MEN, AGES 18-25, TOO? THE VAST MAJORITY OF MASS MURDERERS HAVE BEEN JUST THAT, YOU KNOW!
December 23, 2012: CNN's Don Lemon discusses the possibility of profiling white men in an attempt to prevent gun violence and decrease the amount of mass shootings. Lemon argues that white males between the ages of 18 and 25 were behind nearly all recent mass killings.
PROFILE YOUNG WHITE MALES?
DON'T BE DUPED, AMERICA! IF WE BAN ANY GUNS, CRIMINALS WILL STILL HAVE THEM, AND WE WILL BE AT THEIR MERCY, AND AT THE MERCY OF OUR QUESTIONABLE GOVERNMENT. IF YOU THINK WASHINGTON'S ELECTEDS ARE ON YOUR SIDE, GO READ THE PATRIOT ACT, ALL OF IT! THEN READ WHAT THIS CONGRESS HAS ADDED TO IT THAT TAKES AWAY YOUR CITIZEN'S RIGHTS. GO AHEAD, EDUCATE YOURSELVES, AND STOP MINDLESSLY ACCEPTING WHAT YOU'RE TOLD TO THINK!
